Danielle Lewis, ND, is a Naturopathic Doctor whose goal is to constantly reinvent herself so she can lead by example and empower her patients. She is a firm believer in the fact that we all have the power to heal ourselves if we are equipped with the right knowledge and have the willpower. Dr. Lewis provides personalized, integrative care to the DMV community.

Dr. Lewis’ journey to becoming a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine started over 15 years ago in the field of Physical Therapy. She attained her degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences and has a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in Health Science and Management. After graduating from Naturopathic Medical School, Dr. Lewis completed two years of residency in Phoenix, Arizona, in a setting that focused on women’s medicine and primary care.

Dr. Lewis treats common conditions that affect women of all ages. She is certified in Holistic Pelvic Care™, a technique she uses to help women with pelvic pain, incontinence, postpartum healing, and painful sex, and is skilled in other pain management therapies. Dr. Lewis uses her background in physical therapy to restore normal function and decrease joint pain. She also conducted medical research on the clinical applications and effectiveness of botanical therapies in treating common digestive issues such as SIBO.

Dr. Lewis believes that it is important to support organizations that increase the availability and knowledge about Naturopathic Medicine. She is a proud member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AZNMA) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). While in school, she sat on the board of the Naturopathic Advocate and Community Awareness Team (N-ACT).

Dr. Lewis’ daily healing comes from her enjoyment of music, dancing, shooting the breeze with intellectuals, and giving back through her community and global health endeavors. She loves living in beautiful Arizona because she can spend most of the year outside enjoying activities such as hiking and swimming.
